Begin your day by bathing the Shiva Linga with water, milk, or honey while chanting "Om Namah Shivaya." This sacred bath (abhishekam) purifies the mind and invites divine blessings.  

Early Morning Abhishekam

Light a ghee diya near the Shiva Linga and offer bilva leaves (Bel Patra), which are dear to Lord Shiva. The flame symbolizes wisdom, and bilva leaves represent devotion. 

Light a Diya with Bilva Leave

Recite the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra ("Om Tryambakam Yajamahe…") 108 times for protection, health, and inner peace. Use a rudraksha mala for counting 

Chant Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra

Observe a partial or full fast—avoid grains and eat fruits, milk, or sabudana khichdi. Fasting detoxifies the body and sharpens focus on prayer.

Before sleeping, perform a short Shiva puja with incense, flowers, and aarti. Meditate on Shiva’s form for 10 minutes—visualize his calm energy filling your home.
